This is where our journey began, born from a desire to create a peaceful, hands-on environment where families can slow down, reconnect with the land, and learn practical agricultural skills. We believe in building things that last, fostering community, and finding joy in purposeful, confidence-building activities.
The seed of a dream
Hi, I’m Jackie — founder of Teal Valley. By trade, I worked in heavy highway construction and welding, always believing in hard work and building things that last. But quietly, I was building a different dream: a place where families could slow down, reconnect, and experience a cherished childhood. I believe children should get their hands dirty, families should accomplish things together, and animals teach responsibility. As this vision grew, I became a certified yoga instructor, blending wellness, agriculture, and education into one meaningful experience here at TealValleyFarm.

Teal Valley stands apart as a hands-on agritourism experience built by a working-class woman who deeply values hard work, faith, and family. Designed to help people slow down, reconnect, and leave feeling accomplished, we offer guided animal interactions, homesteading workshops, and seasonal events that invite everyone to engage directly with farm life. It’s about getting your hands dirty and learning by doing.
